“Where’s Alex? I’m guessing you didn’t do all this with him just down the hall.” Richard mused, staring up at the darkened ceiling above. He hadn’t needed to look to know Alice was awake. He just sensed it.

She was snuggled against his right side with an arm draped across his chest. On his left, Rebecca was still asleep, with her arms locked securely around his arm and her head on his shoulder. He didn’t bother to wonder how they’d ended up like that. I dropped him there this morning before work and said I’d pick him up on my way home in a couple of days.”

That made the corner of Alice’s mouth curl wryly as her fingers drew circles across her. “Well, don’t count it out just yet. Poor boy, who knows what nightmares he might have after a couple of days staying with my parents… But mum’s been nagging for some time with him, so I thought why not take advantage and have a little quality time.”

There was so much fire and barely restrained venom in his voice that Alice opened her eyes. “Relax, I took care of it,” she purred, leaning in to press soft kisses to his throat as the hand on his chest slid down the line of his abdomen.

“Yeah… how bad?” he asked, swallowing as he felt her hand working lowering, and his body responding to it. Her slow sucking kisses quickly smothering one fire with another. The tempting wench…

Edging higher, she took the lobe of his ear between her teeth and bit hard enough to make him hiss. “Mmm… let’s just say he’ll think twice before attacking a woman half his size again.
